This is the official J.A. King GSM Sample Cutter from SummitMeasurement.net. The SASD-688 is a premium quality industrial sample cutter that is used in the textile and fabric industries worldwide. We are proud to be an authorized distributor for this quality product. The SASD-688 uses a durable cast construction and hardened steel dies for the ultimate in reliability and durability. Samples are automatically ejected, and materials can be cut up to 1/2" thick!

If you are looking for a universal GSM cutter that will last a lifetime, this is it. Several blade sizes and sample dimensions available in both metric and imperial (avoirdupois) units.

Please note: The cutter comes standard with an American (English) blade. If you require a metric blade please inform us at the time of purchase.

How it works:
1- Raise the cutter handle to its vertical position.
2- Place a cutting pad on the cutter base directly under the blade.
3- Place your folded fabric on the cutting pad being careful not to stretch or distort the fabric. Be careful not to touch the blade. It is very sharp.
4- push handle down to horizontal position to cut the sample.
5- Place one hand on cutter base and raise handle to vertical position. The samples will be automatically ejected by the ejection disk.
6- Remove the samples by sliding cutting pad and samples from cutter base.
