Redesigned with a fresh new look and new features, the Intell Lab PM Milligram Balance continues to be our Best Selling Milligram Balance! The PM remains popular because of it's reliability and affordability.

The newly redesigned PM series Milligram Balance offers sliding glass doors (also known as a draft shield) to shield the sample pan from any draft, breeze, or environmental changes while weighing. The doors slide open on both sides as well as the top. These doors are very handy when working with a pouring application, as other milligram balances with a cylindrical shaped draft shield require pouring from the top (causing splatter)... With the PM-series milligram balance all you have to do is slide the door back, pour your sample and close the door. The large weighing chamber is large enough to accommodate large objects, such as a flask. The balance will display the weight of the sample on the large, bright LCD.

The new model offers hands free infrared tare and calibration. You can tare simply by placing your finger over the infrared button. And calibration is so simple you can be sure the balance will be calibrated frequently during use. Now also with an anti-buoyancy ring to prevent air currents from interfering with weighing results and a spill ring to protect the electronic components from damage. It has a stiffer, stronger base as well as configurable RS232 interface and dedicated print button. For extra portability, the PM can be powered by 8 AA dry cell batteries.

The bright backlit LCD display is easy to read in all lighting conditions, even bright sunlight. The scale reads in g, oz, ct, lb, GN, oz t, and dwt. A counting program allows for piece counting applications. The percentage program allows for formulation weighing. Filtering levels allow you to adjust the balance in response to different environmental conditions for more controlled results. Leveling feet and spirit level make it easy to level the balance on uneven working surfaces. Adjustable zero tracking for evaporation applications. The pan can be removed for easy cleaning.

We ship this balance pre-calibrated, but also include a 200g calibration weight so you can ensure repeatable results.

The PM-300 has capacity 300 grams and resolution of 0.001g, or 1 mg.
